How we process your Samsung Galaxy S8 unlock code

Getting your Samsung Galaxy S8 unlocked by Netpal couldn’t be easier. We’ve done our best to ensure the process is as painless as possible. Firstly you’ll need to select your current UK network (that’s the network you are locked to) and add it to your basket. At the checkout you’ll also need to provide us with your 15 digit IMEI number.

We use your IMEI number to generate your S8 Plus, S8 Active or S8 Edge unlock code. Once we start processing your order you can expect to 1-5 days (depending on which network) for your SIM network unlock PIN to arrive. We’ll send you a number of emails to keep you in the loop, along with a link to full Samsung unlocking instructions should you need them.

Pre-sales frequently asked questions

It’s very simple to get your 15 digit IMEI number. The quickest way is to dial *#06# on your handset and the number will be displayed on the screen. You can also find it by navigating to Settings > About device > Status > IMEI number.

The short answer to this is no. We do not touch your handset in any way and entering the unlock code will not affect your warranty. All the major networks provide unlock codes to customers and it never affects the on-going warranty of the handset.

Once your handset is unlocked you will be able to use any SIM card anywhere in the world. You phone will be the same as if you purchased it without it being locked. You can travel to Spain or Africa or anywhere else and use a SIM card from a local network provider.

We use PayPal to process your payments. With PayPal you are protected a shopper from scams. So, if we didn’t deliver your unlock code or you think you have been unfairly treated you can open a case with PayPal and request a refund. As a result, you can have total peace of mind knowing that Netpal will deliver you a fully working unlock code. Check our customer reviews.

Whilst we wish we could charge the same low price for all networks, unfortunately we cannot. This is because we have to pay for your unlock code from the unlock server which in turn gets the code from a manufacturers database. We get charged specific prices for each handset model and network and only make a few pounds for each customer we find.

Sometimes your handset will ask for a PUK code. For most handsets you will have a limited number of attempts to enter the correct unlock. So, if you or someone else has been trying to guess the code unsuccessfully too many times you may get a screen that says ‘SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK’. If this happens you will need a DEFREEZE or UNFREEZE code. You can get this from us by order the PUK Bypass service.
