How we unlock your Galaxy S9 and deliver your code

Unlike other unlocking companies, Netpal are completely transparent about how we unlock your mobile phone. Firstly you’ll need to choose your current network (the network to be unlocked) and add the service to your basket. At the checkout you’ll need to add your IMEI number before you complete your purchase.

Once that’s done we’ll send you couple of emails welcoming you and showing you your order details. You’ll also receive another email letting you know the unlocking procedure is underway. On completion we’ll send your Samsung S9 unlock code along with a link to full unlocking instructions should you need them.

Pre-sales frequently asked questions

It’s very simple to get your 15 digit IMEI number. The quickest way is to dial *#06# on your handset and the number will be displayed on the screen. You can also find it by navigating to Settings > About device > Status > IMEI number.

We use PayPal to process your payments. With PayPal you are protected a shopper from scams. So, if we didn’t deliver your Samsung Galaxy S9 unlock code or you think you have been unfairly treated you can open a case with PayPal and request a refund. As a result, you can have total peace of mind knowing that Netpal will deliver you a fully working unlock code.

The short answer to this is no. We do not touch your handset in any way and entering the unlock code will not affect your warranty. All the major networks provide unlock codes to customers and it never affects the on-going warranty of the handset.

Once we have provided you with the phone unlock code and you have entered it successfully into the handset you will be able to insert any SIM card from global network. That means you can go to Spain or Africa and use a local SIM card from there.

Getting your unlock code from Netpal doesn’t take long. In many instances you code will be emailed to you within a few hours. Waiting times are different depending on which network you want unlocked and which handset you are unlocking.

Sometimes your handset will ask for a PUK code. For most handsets you will have a limited number of attempts to enter the correct unlock. So, if you or someone else has been trying to guess the code unsuccessfully too many times you may get a screen that says ‘SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK’. If this happens you will need a DEFREEZE or UNFREEZE code. You can get this from us by order the PUK Bypass service.
